FAQ

A practical guide to what BabelMe does, how voice and paid resources work, and how users can get support.

Is BabelMe the same as other AI translators?

No. BabelMe overlaps on live translation, voice, camera translation, and notes, but it also includes Messages, Party Room, Broadcast, safety controls, visible meters, and sender/host-paid group behavior.

Does BabelMe use third-party AI services?

Yes. BabelMe may use providers such as speech recognition, translation, text-to-speech, voice setup, and note-generation services to provide requested features. The privacy policy describes the categories of data involved.

What happens when paid minutes run out?

BabelMe should show the relevant limit and upgrade or add-on path, then use only safe Standard/local fallback where the device and mode support it.

Can users report abuse?

Yes. BabelMe supports reporting, blocking, moderation review, and account deletion paths.

Are Broadcast listeners charged?

BabelMe's intended Broadcast model keeps listeners passive and attaches paid rendering to the sender or host path.

Where are store links?

Store links will be added when the App Store and Google Play rollout is ready. Until then, this site supports review, privacy, safety, and product education.
